The Standard is partnering with an established and highly regarded law firm in Los Angeles to identify an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and support attorneys handling sophisticated litigation matters. Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day litigation support to attorneys

  • Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • File documents in state and federal courts and manage electronic filings

  • Maintain calendars and track deadlines, hearings, and court dates

  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

  • Assist with discovery including document organization and production

  • Maintain accurate and organized case files

  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant

  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules

  • Experience with state and federal court filings

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range of 80,000 to 90,000 with flexibility for higher compensation based on experience
